Journal of Sistan and Baluchistan Studies (JSBS) is published bi-annually by the Department of Archaeology, Faculty of Art and Architecture, University of Zabol, Sistan and Baluchistan, Iran with the collaboration of the Society of Iranian Archaeology and ISMEO. JSBS publishes original scientific research, not published before or under consideration elsewhere. This open-access peer-reviewed journal devoted to East of the Iranian plateau with a specific focus on archaeological, historical, linguistics, ethnoarchaeological, and heritage conservation in all areas with The eastern heritage of the Iranian plateau, especially adjacent areas such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Oman, the Persian Gulf, and Central Asia with a chronological span from Paleolithic to Modern times.
Journal of Sistan and Baluchistan Studies publishes a variety of article types including original research papers, review articles, archaeological reports, and short communications.
