Journal of Sistan and Baluchistan Studies is an international, peer-reviewed open-access journal devoted to East Iran, published by the University of Zabol with the collaboration of the Society of Iranian Archaeology and ISMEO. Specifically, the journal is interested in all East of the Iranian plateau areas, as well as adjacent areas such as Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Oman, the Persian Gulf, and Central Asia with a chronological span from Paleolithic to Modern times. Journal of Sistan and Baluchistan Studies publishes a variety of article types including original research papers, review articles, and short communications. Topics of interest given the geographic scope listed include (but are not limited to):
